LAB-T
This drawing series was based on two trips to the Acropolis. The images deal with notions of permanence, seeing the natural materials which created a heritage fundamental to Athens as being a part of a continually-shifting process.
The images see heritage as fundamentally always in flux, allowing moments of ancient archeology and history to be seen in tandem with contemporary patch repairs and object mountings, letting the visitor question how the value of these materials changes with time.
Possible futures, polemic political positions and an acceptance of entropy are themes that are explored throughout the drawing series.
Originals and limited prints are available, please email for details.
